Stewardship Workgroup

Institutional transformation regarding gender equity occurs only with deep engagement in issue on the part of faculty members and administrators along with a parallel transformation of behavior. This workgroup fosters responsibility for change within the university based on personal reflection and choice rather than on external pressure mandating behavioral compliance. This is a collaborative effort based on the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of scientific evidence to faculty members and administrators. While the focus is on training and advising faculty and administrators regarding gender equity, each activity within this tier will create experiences for individuals and groups to bring about heightened sensitivity to unconscious bias and a personal decision to work against it.
